Rasayana Rejuvenating Oil Face and Body

Rasayana in Ayurveda means to rejuvenate, nourish, preserve youthfulness, build life force energy and maintain optimal health and homeostasis in the body.  We crafted our Ojas Glow Rasayana Face and Body Oil packed full of all star ingredients to help you do just that.  From the very first use you will be well on your way to restoring a healthy, youthful glow!

We start with organic Black Cumin Oil, from the Nigella Sativa plant, commonly called Black Seed Oil.  This oil from India has been gaining popularity although it has been used for centuries for its amazing benefits both applied topically and taken orally as a daily supplement.  Black Seed oil is rich in Vitamins A, B and C, packed with fatty acids and antioxidants.  Its protects the skin from environmental damage and free radicals and has anti-inflammatory properties.  It not only will not clog pores, but it has a purifying effect on the skin and has shown to reduce acne.  Fatty acids help the skin retain moisture, diminish fine lines and wrinkles and restore elasticity to the skin.  Vitamin A is essential for maintaining a healthy cell turnover process, which slows as we age. 

Next we add organic, cold pressed Apricot Kernel Oil. Apricot kernel oil contains omega 6 to strengthen skin, Vitamin E to retain elasticity, Vitamin C to nourish skin and is also rich in antioxidants to fight free radicals and other environmental stressors. 

We use organic, hexane free cold pressed Castor Oil for its anti-inflammatory and nourishing properties.  Castor oil is nutrient rich and is an excellent oil for restoring moisture and nourishment to the skin.

Organic Carrot Seed is a must have ingredient for its antioxidant and antiaging properties. Carrot seed oil is known to be one of the richest sources of natural retinol (vitamin A) to speed the cell renewal process and is also packed with beneficial vitamins and minerals.

Just to put the cherry on top, we add Organic Olive Squalene oil to our Rasayana Oil.  This is a powerful emollient that prevents moisture loss and deeply nourishes the skin, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles and giving the skin a luxurious, youthful glow. Also packed with anti-oxidants, Olive Squalene protects our skin from free radicals and other environmental stressors that aim to break down our collogen and elastin and age the skin prematurely.

Lastly we add our organic Signature essential oils blend of  Frankincense, Turmeric, Lemongrass and Lavender to help even skin tone, promote elasticity and smell amazing.
